Empirum Personal Backup manages the part
of the PC previously disregarded. All data and
configurations of the end-user can be restored at any
time, by the push of a button, centrally from the
Empirum Console, or directly on the user’s PC. This
works when a complete new PC is installed, or during a
selective restoring of backed up data, including
‘favorites’ and email settings, is called for. Besides
backing up and restoring, Personal Backup also makes the
migration of operating system configurations and
applications possible, even across versions borders.
Thus, the operating system settings, data and
application configurations are kept and maintained for a
migration from Windows NT to Windows XP.
